I've been there. I've been there, sister, and I carry the battle scars.
I can think of only one worse fate - being fat and having someone ask you when your baby is due. I thank God daily that I have not personally had to go through that humiliation.
I'm beginning to believe that older people hold more contempt for the younger generations than the opposite but have the common sense to keep their mouths shut and only react when it'll have the most devestating impact.

There will be older ladies who gravitate to you, the safe and smart looking one in class. Your profs will appreciate you more and probably make snide comments about stupid freshmen to you. Also will grade you easier. Maybe even flirt. And you won't flunk out like 85% of the morons there.
