Thinking twice
Realizing what I've let myself in for...
Again, back to the novice blogger thing. I'm wondering how many other blogger and blog readers have experienced what I just experienced: reading the blog/web site of someone you think you know and finding that afterwards your opinion of their intelligence, class and sanity has dropped by approx. 50%.
On top of that, I am amazed at what people will put on their blog. I vaguely live by the creed that if it is recorded in ANY way, I am going to handle myself as though I plan to get pissed off enough to take someone to court in the future. If it can be thrown back in my face in a sort of anti character testimony, I'm not gonna say/write/draw it...nope, no way, no ma'am. Like I need there to be documented proof of just how stupid I really can be. To borrow a quote, better to be thought a wacked out rabid howler monkey, then to hurl feces and remove all doubt.
Just ask some of my friends...they KNOW how much I want to share with the world the now infamous redneck wedding story, but I "cain't"...and it pains me, it really really does. Granted, it is unlikely that anyone who was at this wedding has opposable thumbs, let alone the ability to find or read this blog, but I can't take any chances.
(OF course it's all relative isn't it? I'm pretty sure there's some group who might put me on their list after reading my blog. I hear the NRA frowns pretty severely on the "specious" use of the term "redneck," in which case I am proud to say I already and will in the future be certain to use it most often.)

Personally, I can testify that my life is actually better because I know the infamous redneck wedding story!
I tend to stay away from baring my soul stuff and stick to the goofiness of life on my own blog. Works out pretty well that way.
Plus with me around you can fill your blog with enough memes that it looks like you're doing a lot here.
